Meta launched Threads, a new microblogging app, on Thursday, and its boss, Mark Zuckerberg, reported 30 million registered users on the first day.

But can the tech company, which also owns Instagram and WhatsApp, capitalize on owner Elon Musk’s recent changes to Twitter that have alienated many users and advertisers?

Meta’s billionaire owner doesn’t seem content with social battles either Agree to accept the opponent’s cage challenge – although no specific date has been set yet.
