UK business inflation expectations rise in September: BoE

LONDON, Oct 6 (Reuters) – British business expectations for consumer price inflation a year from now rose to 9.5% last month from 8.4% in August, a Bank of England survey showed on Thursday.

The survey of chief financial officers by the Bank of England’s panel of policymakers also showed that businesses expect output prices to rise 6.6% in the coming year, up from a forecast of 6.5% in August.

The survey was conducted between September 2. 2 and 16 and received 2,522 responses.
