Glendale, Arizona (3TV/CBS 5) – Three men were reportedly taken to hospital after being shot in Glendale early Sunday morning.
Around 2:30 a.m., Glendale police responded to reports of shootings near Maryland Avenue and 52nd Avenue. Police reportedly found three men who had been shot while driving in the area. The three of them had earlier encountered some people in another vehicle in Phoenix, the driver said.
When the driver saw the people confronting them in Phoenix, the driver thought they were near 51st Avenue and Glendale, and they started shooting at their vehicle. The driver took everyone to his home near 52nd Drive and called police. All three men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Glendale officials are investigating but have not identified a suspect.
