Spigen’s AirPods Pro 2 Ultra Hybrid case is completely transparent and features a round carabiner that easily attaches to belt loops or hooks inside your backpack. The new lanyard loop on the AirPods Pro 2 case still has a cutout, and according to Spigen’s website, the case will still work with a wireless charger.

Looking for something tougher than the Ultra Hybrid? The Spigen Rugged Armor AirPods Pro case looks a lot like the Rugged Armor case Spigen designed for the iPhone 14, just smaller. The Rugged Armor is black and comes with a matching carabiner. The case is a combination of plastic and silicone, which should provide adequate protection for your AirPods Pro.

Dbrand is primarily known for skins that offer minimal protection but plenty of personalization. However, Dbrand’s AirPods Pro 2 case looks great. It’s military-grade impact-resistant without being overly bulky, and comes with what every AirPods Pro case should have: a built-in removal tool. I’m always afraid that I’ll break the case, my AirPods, or both when trying to remove the case. Oh, and you can still choose your own design to spice up the look of the case.

Speck’s Presidio Clear case will ensure you can still see the engraved AirPods Pro charging case while still adding a layer of protection. Don’t buy your own lanyard for the new charging case, as Speck doesn’t provide a cutout for it. However, you can use a clip on the case to replace it.

The Speck Presidio case with a soft-touch coating is black, although the listing calls it black and bright silver. Still, the exterior of the case has a coating that makes it smooth and soft to the touch. One downside is that the case doesn’t appear to have a cutout for the lanyard loop for the charging case, but it does include a carabiner of its own that suffices.

For something more affordable, check out the Elago Clear Case. For $16, you’ll get a clear case and tape to secure the top of the case to the AirPods Pro charging case. There’s nothing wrong with this being a minimal case that definitely gets the job done.

Apple only lists one accessory for the second-generation AirPods Pro on its website, which isn’t the case. In its place is the Incase Lanyard, which looks like a great option for attaching your AirPods Pro to your backpack, or just so you can grab something during your workout. The clip on the lanyard makes it easy to attach the lanyard to items like belt loops or backpacks, and then remove it effortlessly. If you don’t have a case (or use a model with a cutout, like the Spigen and Elago options above), a lanyard is a smart choice.
