Meridian, Miss. (WTOK) – A city in Neshoba County has kicked off the holiday shopping season.
Philadelphia hosted a holiday open house, where several businesses came together for special discounts and promotions to entice more customers to shop.
Misty Robinson is a shopper from De Kalb to take advantage of all the deals.
“Well, I just love this area. There’s nothing to shop in DeKalb, so I come here every year for Christmas shopping on open days. Sunday is a great day to go out and shop. Everyone has great sales and this It was a real pleasure. Everyone was very polite, lovely and a good buy,” Robinson said.
If you missed it today, Philadelphia is hosting a small business event on Saturday, November 26th.
The city will also host a Christmas parade on Monday, December 5 at 6 p.m.
