PARIS, Nov 22 (Reuters) – French spirits group Pernod Ricard (PERP.PA) is confident its business in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America (EMEA/LATAM) will continue to post above-market sales growth , while protecting its profit margins for fiscal 2023, EMEA-LATAM Chief Executive Gilles Bogaert said on Tuesday.
Bogart spoke in a video ahead of an investor presentation later in the day.
A key focus for the region, which accounts for about 30 per cent of group sales, is growing revenue to protect margins, continued price increases, “flexible” resource allocation and further digital transformation, he said.
Last month, Pernod Ricard, the world’s second-biggest spirits group after Diageo (DGE.L ), said it was on track to boost results after first-quarter sales beat expectations to help boost results. Confident that the group’s sales growth will remain strong in the financial year to June 30 as consumers buy its premium spirits, rising prices.
