SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) — A Santa Fe company that offers an alternative to traditional cremation is expanding. They are connecting with companies in another country.
Parting stones take the ashes from cremation and turn them into solidified stone.
Now, the company is partnering with Australian company InvoCare, which operates more than 290 funeral homes and 17 cemeteries.
“We will build a Parting Stone laboratory in Australia very similar to our laboratory in Santa Fe to expand our services to their human and pet markets,” said Justin Crowe, Founder and CEO of Parting Stone .
This is part of a $2 million investment by InvoCare in Australia and the United States.
