Local family expands auto repair business to Berthoud – Loveland Reporter-Herald

Christian Brothers Automotive announced this week that it signed an agreement with local residents to expand its car repair services to Berthoud.

Auto Repair will open its 28th store at 1161 Mountain Ave. in Bertou. Founded in Texas in 1982, Christian Brothers also has locations in Loveland, Longmont and Fort Collins.

The Berthoud store is owned by Chris Tibbets, who recently retired from a 15-year law enforcement career. According to the press release, the store will feature state-of-the-art equipment and exceptional customer service, following the company’s motto: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

“After multiple work-related injuries forced me to retire from law enforcement, my family and I were looking for options that best align with our values, and we found that with the Christian brothers,” Tibbetts said in the release. “Christian Brothers has stood out in our eyes for its awards and accolades from the start, but it’s much more than that. The brand offers us a unique opportunity to be a light in our community through car repair. We look forward to serving Residents of Berthoud and surrounding communities.”

Through his law enforcement career, he has honed the “leadership, integrity, and selfless service-oriented mindset that are critical to owning your own Christian Brothers auto shop,” according to the release.

His wife Juli and their four children will all be instrumental in helping run the business.

“Our brand has found a home in Colorado with hardworking local business owners like Chris,” said Donny Carr, president and CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive. “We are delighted to welcome him to the Christian Brothers family and believe his passion for serving the Berthoud community through quality auto repair makes him an ideal fit for our brand. We look forward to seeing the impact he will have on the Northern Colorado community.”
