A full-length documentary about Kanye West has been put on hold following his recent anti-Semitic remarks – which his ex-wife Kim Kardashian said was “never good or unforgivable”.
Studio executives Modi Wiczyk, Asif Satchu and Scott Tenley from documentary production company MRC said in a statement on Monday that they “cannot support any content that amplifies its platform”.
The 45-year-old American rapper, who legally changed his name to Ye last year, was also removed by talent agency CAA following the controversy.
Reality star Kardashian, 42, wrote on Twitter and Instagram: “Hate speech is never good or forgivable. I stand with the Jewish community in calling for an immediate end to the horrific violence and hate speech directed against them. .”

The artist has made a series of controversial remarks recently.

In a lengthy memo, the three discussed the history of anti-Semitism.
They wrote: “Kanye is a music producer and sampler. Last week he sampled and remixed a classic tune that’s been around for over 3,000 years – Jews are evil lies who conspire to control for their own benefit world.

Others in Hollywood — including other members of the Kim Kardashian family — have condemned anti-Semitism.
Some, however, supported the rapper, and over the weekend demonstrators unfurled banners praising the West on flyovers in Los Angeles.
