Kanye West has announced that he’s going on a “verbal fast” — not talking to anyone, drinking, watching X-rated movies or having sex for 30 days.

Rapper, Facing backlash after making anti-Semitic remarks, he told his 31.8 million Twitter followers: “I haven’t spoken to no one in a month.”

The handwritten post below says: “I’m on a 30-day purification. Oral fast. No alcohol. No porn. No sex. We praise God. Amen.”

However, West seemed to suggest his “fast” didn’t extend to social media, adding: “But my twitter is still on”.

The 45-year-old, who legally changed his name to Ye last year, has just revived his Twitter account.his account is locked after he posted He was “doing a death hoax on Jews 3” before claiming he was not “anti-Semitic because black people are actually Jews too”.

He also accused record producer Sean “Diddy” Combs of being “Jewish” in an Instagram post.

He is currently locked out of Instagram for 30 days after violating their policies.

Just this week, a former collaborator claimed West had “Disgusting, Hateful, Weird Nazi Obsession”, according to NBC News, and six others said they heard him praise Adolf Hitler or refer to conspiracy theories about Jews.

West has made other controversial remarks recently, including suggesting slavery is “an option” and calling a COVID-19 vaccine “the mark of the beast.”

Many watched in disbelief as he wore a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt during Paris Fashion Week in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which tracks hate groups, said White Lives Matter was a neo-Nazi group.

West also made some comments about Jews and money on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show.

Many celebrities have spoken out against his actions, including his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who took to social media: “Hate speech is never good or forgivable. I stand with the Jewish community. Together, we call for an immediate end to the horrific violence and hate speech against them.”

She has previously spoken about West’s struggle with bipolar disorder, saying in 2020 that “people close to Kanye know his heart and understand that his words sometimes don’t match his intentions”.

West’s career has taken a nosedive since West’s extensive comments, and he is no longer considered a billionaire.
