Ghislaine Maxwell has said she “feels bad” about Prince Andrew and admitted they are no longer friends, in her first prison interview since being convicted of sex trafficking.
Speaking to CBS and Paramount Plus, the 60-year-old said she understands why Duke of YorkThe lawyers had to downplay their friendship.
“I feel bad for him,” she told an interviewer, according to The Sun. “I focus on what happened to him.”
Following a trial earlier this year, Maxwell wash Convicted of luring young girls to massage parlors for disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein Harassment, between 1994 and 2004.
When she was first released from prison, she said: “I accept that this friendship cannot survive my beliefs.
“He paid such a price for the association, I regard him as a dear friend, and I care about him very much.”
The former socialite went on to claim this now-infamous photo of her, Andrew, and a young Virginia Giuffre (above) isn’t real.
Prince Andrew Settles civil sexual assault claim brought by Ms. Giuffre earlier this year. He has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

But she added that “many women can identify” with falling in love with someone they regret.
Maxwell, who was transferred to a low-security prison in Florida in July, is now Appeal against her convictionHe spoke to the media twice, The Sun reported.
The first interview was conducted at the high-security detention center in New York, where she was held following her arrest, and the second was conducted in Florida.
Prison documents confirm she is Moved to FCI Tallahassee this summer.
Inmates can do yoga, perform talent shows and watch movies, according to a prison consulting firm.
Relationship with Bill Clinton ‘special’
Maxwell also spoke about her trial in the interview, saying it turned her into a “wicked witch Disney character.”
She also described her friendship with former US President Bill Clinton as “special”, adding that they had “a lot in common”.
Maxwell said that, like Prince Andrew, she accepted they were no longer in touch. But she said she was “honored” when former President Donald Trump wished her well before the trial.
Describing how they were “mixed in the same circle”, she said his words were “a big motivator”.
Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison following his 2020 arrest.
Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan federal prison cell in August 2019 as he awaited trial on sex trafficking charges.
