Kalispell Chamber Fabrication Workshop
The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2022 Manufacturing Symposium on Tuesday, October 2. 18 from 8 am to 1 pm in the Arts and Technology Building at Flathead Valley Community College. The workshop’s agenda includes important information on manufacturing resources, legislative updates, manufacturing financial forecasts, adaptive leadership sessions, whitewater roundtables, and available tours of the FVCC Career Trade Program. Nomad holds job fair
Nomad Global Communication Solutions is celebrating 20 years of designing and manufacturing connected specialty vehicles with a career fair on October 15th at its Columbia Falls facility. 21. The company manufactures custom solutions at its Montana headquarters for NASA, Verizon, the U.S. Department of Defense, utilities, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and dozens of state, local, and federal agencies. Hiring gives the community an opportunity to learn more about the company’s business and how people’s unique skills and talents fit into the picture. The event takes place at Nomad, 5414 US 2, Columbia Falls from 3-7pm.
Symposium looks at attracting international tourists
Glacier Country Tourism is partnering with Discover Kalispell to host an informative workshop on how to market to international tourists by working with international inbound (accepting) tour operators. Get essential tips for working with this lucrative marketplace, as well as tools and best practices for attracting international visitors to your business year-round. The seminars are free, but there are only 30 places per seminar. Workshop times are Thursday, October 10am-noon and 2pm-4pm. 13, at Homewood Suites, 195 Hutton Ranch Road, Kalispell. Accommodation Association Conference
The Montana Lodging and Hotel Association will hold its fall travel conference and trade show in Billings in October. 25-27. This year’s theme is “Montana Hospitality…Embrace Change” and will focus on providing leadership in rapidly changing times. The event will start on Tuesday, October 2nd. On October 25th, there will be an evening welcome event that ends on Thursday, October 4th. On the 27th, an awards dinner was held in the evening.
