Firefighters put out blaze in Lowell business district

Firefighters battled the blaze at a business on Broadway in Lowell on Wednesday afternoon. As Sky5 flew overhead, flames and smoke could be seen spreading through buildings and bursting from roofs. The roof collapsed in several places. The state fire chief’s office said it will send investigators to Lowell to participate in the investigation.
