stone. George – A California man was arrested after returning to the company he trespassed in and then reportedly threw rocks at several cars parked in the company’s parking lot, causing thousands of damage, police said.

Police received a chaotic call involving a verbal altercation at a transport company on East Deseret Drive shortly before 2pm on Monday.

According to a probable cause statement filed in support of the arrest, Janvier Christopher Mason, 28, of North Hollywood, Calif., has reportedly been involved in an altercation with another employee when the altercation escalated to Mason shoving a A company manager attacked him. The whistleblower only wanted the suspect to trespass on the property.

While talking to staff, officers noticed a man matching the suspect’s description walking from the company to the road, the report said. He continued to walk because the police repeatedly told him that he would not be allowed to return to the company. But Mason continued down the street.

Less than 20 minutes later, officers returned to the store after the manager called 911 to report Mason reappearing and allegedly throwing rocks at multiple vehicles in the parking lot at the property.

When police arrived, they found Mason walking south along North 3050 East. Once he reached the corner of Deseret Drive, the suspect was taken into police custody.

Meanwhile, officials at the trucking company’s disposal site learned that more than one employee observed Mason walking into the property with several large rocks and watched him throw rocks at two of the vehicles.

Just then, a staff member walked outside and saw the suspect grab another stone and throw it from the windshield of a semi-trailer parked in the parking lot. He witnessed Mason pick up another rock and toss it on the windshield of another truck tractor parked in the parking lot.

While canvassing the lot, officers photographed the damage from the incident when they found a truck with a smashed windshield and a Camaro with a large hole in its rear window. They also found scratches and dents that matched the rock behind the car, as well as a second vehicle with minor damage and a large rock next to the car.

Police found a third vehicle, a jeep, with two large holes in the front windshield – damage “consistent with a stone being thrown at it”, officers also found a large amount of glass scattered on the hood, and what appeared to be by Scratches and dents from rocks sliding down the surface.

Mason was arrested and sent to Purgatory Correctional Facility to face second-degree felony counts of criminal mischief, as well as misdemeanor assault and trespass.
